About the Artist
I live in Las Vegas with my husband John, our daughter Nuriel, our dog and 2 pigeons. Currently I attend The Christian Connection in Las Vegas. I am a stay-home mom (and enjoy every minute of it, but it's pretty tough work), and my husband is in the Air Force. Air Force life is very interesting, but I love it even though I went with it reluctantly!
I got into digital art in High School when I took a class hoping to learn computer illustration (I wanted to be a writer and illustrate my own books). As it turned out, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and as much as I loved writing, I felt God moving me into the direction of art as a way of reaching out to people. This was my first "picture" I made in Adobe Photoshop ( in the class):

The resolution is terrible, and overall it looks sloppy, but at the time, I thought it was awesome! The feathers on the eagle were made of people and clouds, and the fire was obviously tiled. So I decided to re-do it, and as it came together, God revelaed to me that this was how He wanted to use me. I also had a deep longing to visit Africa and help out the dieing children, but there was no way I could afford to. I couldn't even afford to donate. So I talked to God about it, and felt He wanted me to donate 50% of all my take home profits to a missions group. And that way I could save up on my own to go to Africa someday.
The art isn't meant to be all mushy gushy (which is ok once in a while), but rather almost shocking. It's made to hold your attention and really make you think. There are alot of issues facing Christians today, that alot of people would rather ignore, or maybe they just haven't seen them yet. So there are probably some articles or pieces of art you might find offensive. That's ok, I expect that. But don't dismiss something because you find it offensive, rather, think about it, and talk to God about it. The goal of this site is to enlighten those that enter, and maybe help to open their eyes on something they had previously not thought about. And of course, the goal is to bring everyone a little bit closer to their Savior, Jesus Christ.
